As a lab, we joined forces with the Women’s and Gender Studies program, to visit the opening night of a new exhibit on Drake’s campus “Toward a Universal Suffrage.” The exhibit remains on display in Cowles Library through March 7, 2022 (affording an activism-education opportunity to trace the history of African American women’s right to vote in Iowa).
